It started with a recipe that everyone tasted, fell in love with and begged for more. So, much obliged, as someone whose purpose in life is to serve others, I created a simple yet tasty granola. 8 years ago, pre-pandemic, I started French Maple Co. in the form of private cooking classes and personal chef services. Then, motherhood and Covid changed it all.
The maple syrup and the Vanilla Borealis used in my granola is ordered all year directly through independent small and medium businesses in my home province of Quebec. It was really important for me to keep a bit of my roots in our west coast home through every bag of granola that I create. As an avid traveller in constant search of food delicacies, I have discovered singular ingredients from around the globe to incorporate into my recipes. Piment d’Espelette, Cardamom, Butterfly Pea flowers, Japanese matcha & Moringa powder are just a few of the flavours I make use of. The more unusual, unique, and original, the better.
Our granola isn’t trying to be more than what it is. No claims of healthy superpower or magic. Nope, just ingredients that are curated to all palates from foodies to our Mini human.
